Pedialyte Action Update

Thank you

It tooks us a little bit longer to get our final tally for the Arlandria Health Center for Pediatrics Pedialyte action launched two weeks ago, but we finally got it. 20 Alexandrians took action and donated 320 single servings of pediatric electrolyte solution (192 liquid and 128 freezer pops),  That's double our goal of 160!

Thanks for the Food!

Thank you

Food does matter, and thanks to your generosity, ALIVE! was able to feed 706 households comprised of 2,476 individals this weekend at their Saturday Distribution. The Westminster Presbyterian congregation deserves special notice--they were so motivated by our action and ALIVE!'s work, they collected and delivered 26 bags of food for the hungry on their own!

Vote for Your Favorite Quality of Life Indicators

We are really excited to use our new challenge functionality to give Alexandria residents the opportunity to help prioritize a new set of Quality of Life indicators. We've jerry-rigged things a bit by adding the indicators as "solutions, but don't let that throw you. All you need to do is browse through the indicators and vote for those you feel are most important.
