This Thursday, we hope everyone will come out for the final First Thursday of the season - Home Sweet Home.  While there are lots of great things planned including a fun scavenger hunt with prizes & great music from the Kate Moran Band, we would like to ask for everyone's support in helping our featured non-profit.

Way to go ACTion Heroes! 

32 of you take action last week and donated 54 new toys to the Center for Alexandria's Children developmental playgroups. The toys you donated were selected by CAC staff to support children in all aspects of their emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.

Brain development in the first 3 years is critical to life-long academic outcomes and the language and literacy rich environment provided by the CAC developmental playgroups help address the gap in development of young children for some of the most vulnerable and underserved families in Alexandria. We did it! You guys didn't need 5 days ys for our We Are Readers action last week.
