Help 200 Preschool Students Keep Cool in School

End Date: Mon, 06/27/2011 - 11:59am

Help ensure that Northern Virginia’s neediest and most at-risk children can spend the summer learning and growing! In order to ensure that CFNC students have a fun and safe summer at CFNC’s Summer Program, CFNC is in need of the following items:

  • Sprinklers (4)
  • 150-foot hose
  • Sand for the sandbox (22 50lb bags)
  • Slipe n’ Slides (4)
  • Wading pools (4)
  • Pop-up canopies for shade on the playground (4)

This June CFNC will graduate nearly 200 preschool students who will go on to kindergarten prepared for success.  Carla, for example, started CFNC knowing very little English and graduated last week knowing how to write her name in English, create a daily work plan for herself in English and has even helped her parents with English at home!  Now, for the first time in more than 10 years, Carla will be able to continue her amazing progress as CFNC opens its doors to the community for a summer program. And, CFNC needs your help to ensure that children, like Carla, are able to get the most of CFNC’s enriching and high quality program this summer.
