Friends of Guest House is a nonprofit organization that provides a temporary home for women recently released from prison who need basic support services to facilitate a new start in life and successfully transition back into society.
T.C. Williams High School has three orchestras: Chamber, String, and Minnie Howard. They are directed by Dr. Tzu-Ching Tai, Ph.D. The orchestras participate in school concerts and local and regional festivals. In the Spring of 2015, the combined orchestras will travel to Orlando, along with the Band and Choir, for a national competition.
Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center has several program highlights. The first is a mentor program which matches high school art students with a Torpedo Factory artist, which also allows for the student to have an exhibition in the Art Center's Target Gallery.

The organization seeks to involve the school community and the larger community in support of George Mason Elementary after school programs scholarship fund. The PTA also plan and carry out fundraising efforts in order to supplement the limited funds provided the outside vendors.
