Friends of TC Williams Orchestra

The Friends of TC Williams Orchestra foster and promote the high school's orchestra programs within the school and the community at large by providing services and financial support so that the students are provided with a music education that meets the highest possible standards, and growth in musicianship and in performance opportunities.  We hope to foster an appreciation within the Alexandria City Public Schools and community for the educational value of a strong orchestra program.

T.C. Williams High School has three orchestras: Chamber, String, and Minnie Howard.  They are directed by Dr. Tzu-Ching Tai, Ph.D.  The orchestras participate in school concerts and local and regional festivals.  In the Spring of 2015, the combined orchestras will travel to Orlando, along with the Band and Choir, for a national competition.
