The Campagna Center is a non profit organization in Alexandria that supports the community's children in need. It is located in Old Town. The center helps more than 1,700 children and their families everyday.

What is Campagna Center's Mission?

The Campagna Center draws together the resources of the Alexandria community to strengthen families and provide programs that help children become caring, productive adults.

Program Highlights:
  • Alexandria Head Start: This program helps approximately 270 preschoolers across the city be prepared for their next steps in education.
  • Early Head Start: A community program that ensures toddlers from low income families, and expecting moms, get broad services with a focus on intervention at the earliest stages.
  • Campagna Early Learning Center: Provides day care for preschoolers ages 3 - 5, offers a research based education program.
  • Afternoon Adventure: This program offers after hours (3:00PM to 6:00PM) child care for preschoolers.
  • Campagna Kids: Before and after school child care and tutoring.
  • Building Better Futures: This program provides at risk Latino and non-Latino ESL students with a tutor and a mentor in high school to achieve all their educational goals.
  • New Neighbors: Provides community educational programs to help new immigrant and refugee families become self-suficient and active members of our community.
Volunteer Opportunities:

The Campagna Center is in need of a Clerical Assistant, Homework Helpers and ESL teachers and tutors. If you feel like you can share some time with our kids, fill out this volunteer sign-up form.
