Join Project Play for Play Dates in Alexandria
Come play with us at playgrounds across Alexandria!
Community at Play is a series of play dates to get parents and children to experience local playgrounds you haven't heard about yet or that have been recently improved thanks to the Project Play Spruce Up Grants. Each event will have different activities like bubble blowing, sprinklers and more.
The Alexandria Childhood Obesity Action Network (A-COAN) and ACTion Alexandria launched the Project Play initiative this year to raise awareness about the importance of play and improve play environments for more than 6,000 Alexandria children. The goal of Project Play is to ensure that all children in Alexandria have access to a safe place to play.
We'll be playing at the following locations so mark your calendars and bring the family for lots of fun!
- Four Mile Run Park, September 20th, 5:00-6:30
- Holmes Run Park, September 25th, 5:00-6:30

- Angel Park, TBA
