CELEBRATING 75 YEARS of continous, uninterrupted service to children, youths, and families in communities throughout the Northern Virginia metropolitan area, Hopkins House operates preschool academies for infants and chilldren, summer camps for adolescents, and workforce development institutes for teens and adults, that help build the foundation for 21st century achievement.HOPKINS HOUSE PROGRAMS are open to the general public. In addition to the preschool academy, we offer help to teens and adults seeking to earn a college degree, professional certifications and training, and a career in early childhood.  Scholarships and other financial assistance is available to those who cannot afford the tuition or program fees. NAEYC ACCREDITED and Virginia Quality Star Rated, the Helen Day Preschool Academy was ranked among the top two preschools in the City of Alexandria by Northern Virginia Magazine.  OUR FOCUS at the academy, in addition to offering a safe-haven for the children, is educating and preparing them for exceptional achievement in kindergarten and beyond.  Donations and other support from generous donors like you help ensure that the academy remains affordable to working parents.  DONATIONS to Hopkins House are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.  All gifts are acknowledged in writing (please include your name and contact information when donating).
