Mission

The goal of the DRCA is to keep its members informed of many aspects of Alexandria City life, including land use, public safety, volunteer opportunities, City Commissions, Alexandria Public Schools, parks and recreation facilities, transportation, business, housing, and many other major issues which impact quality of life.

Our Events

Taste of Del Ray

Date: Sunday, June 9, 2013 - 1:00pm - 3:15pm

Location: Virginia Commerce Bank near the corner of Mount Vernon and E. Oxford avenues.

Advanced tickets to the Taste of Del Ray are $10 and can be purchased at the Greener Cleaner of Del Ray and the Del Ray Farmers Market on the Saturdays ahead of the event. Tickets will be available for $15 the day of the event.

Historic Del Ray Symposium

Date: Saturday, November 10, 2012 - 9:30am - 12:30pm

Location: George Washington Middle School cafeteria

The Del Ray Citizens Association is teaming with the Office of Historic Alexandria, Historic Alexandria Resources Commission and the Alexandria Historical Society to sponsor a free symposium on Nov. 10 highlighting the unique history and architecture of the city’s Del Ray neighborhood.
