APAA has several programs to offer the public. The ENCORE Series reaches out to the retired and elderly. APAA works with retirement facilities to make certain proper facilities are avaible so Alexandria's elderly can experience the performing arts more easily. The APAA also works to makes sure Alexandria's youth have the financial opportunities to go to performances at venues such as the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
