Of Wine & Words 2014 will be Friday, April 4, at Jones Day, 300 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.  This event will kick off The Reading Connection's 25th anniversary year, celebrating a quarter century of sharing the magic of reading with local at-risk kids and families. 

 
Join the fun as Of Wine & Words moves to a beautiful location on the rooftop of Jones Day, overlooking the Capitol. The evening includes gourmet treats from some of the area's best restaurants.  Wine and beer flow at tasting tables. The Silent Auction includes unique children's books and furnishings and sought-after packages of vacation and date-night combinations.  
 
It's going to be a memorable celebration with TRC friends old and new!
 
Tickets will be available March 3.  $50 TRC Volunteer; $100 Individual Tickets; $150 Includes VIP Reception

Doreen Gentzler, NBC4 news anchor.  DC native and mother of two, Doreen Genzler anchors the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. NBC4 newscasts with Jim Vance.  She is also the station's medical reporter.
