History Unleashed-Animals in Alexandria

On Saturday, June 7, the Lee-Fendall House Museum & Garden will host “History Unleashed,” an afternoon of programs and activities highlighting the roles of animals in the house and in Alexandria over the years. Special crafts and tours of the house will describe the many animals that have lived, worked, and played on the property. Children’s activities and materials on humane education will be available in the museum garden from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, and a variety of shelter animals will be available for adoption!
The program will run from 12 noon until 4:00 PM. Admission will be charged for crafts and tours of the museum ($6 adults, $4 students 5-17), garden activities are free of charge.
