Tell Your Story to Fund Your Mission


The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has created a new program to educate both experienced and emerging leaders alike. Communicating your organization’s unique “story” is a common challenge for nonprofit leaders. The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit & Association Leadership Academy will help you create a buzzworthy dialogue that drives funding as well as demonstrate how to design strategies for using that money wisely.

Join us for our Kickoff Event on Thursday, September 18th from 4:30pm – 6:30pm, presented by Aronson LLC at the American Bankruptcy Institute for an evening of networking and cocktails. David Zipper, managing director of technology incubator 1776, will join us to share his experience and ideas on how mission-driven organizations can accelerate their impact by connecting with entrepreneurs who are developing new products within their space. A growing number of organizations, such as the Mayors Innovation Project and the Council of Great City Schools and the American Medical Association, have done just that!
