Tree Sale Benefits APYC, Domestic Violence Program Requests Gifts and Winter Activities: This Week's Latest ACTion
- Today marks the start of a Christmas tree sale to support the Alexandria Police Youth Camp. All proceeds from the sale, which takes place Monday through Friday 5 PM to 8 PM and weekends from 10 AM to 8 PM, help to ensure that each child in Alexandria has the opportunity to attend a summer camp. So purchase your tree at Union Station on Callahan Drive and contribute to a great cause!
- The City's Domestic Violence Program is in the process of organizing its annual holiday party, specifically for the women and children who've recently sought the assistance of the shelter. Toys and gift cards are needed! You can help by dropping off a toy or gift card at 421 King Street, no later than 5 PM on December 13th. For more information, call (703) 746-4911.
