At ACTion Alexandria, we want to bring the cat back to Alexandria. Alexandrians are known for their fondness for all things canine, but did you know that cats outnumber dogs 3 to 1 in local shelters?  

June is Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month and the ASPCA and American Humane Association are promoting it. At the American Humane Association's website, you can find tips and tricks for adopting a cat and how to make it work.

Many cats enter shelters in the summer and they need your help to adopt a precious kitten. If you are looking to adopt one of these cuddly felines, go to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to learn about how to do it.

Help bring the cat back to Alexandria.
