members have been collaborating to build Alexandria's Principles of Engagement since November. We'll be discussing the Principles and a new framework for implementation and we need your feedback and ideas.

  • Can’t Make the April 30th Meeting? Try participating online at our Virtual TableFor those unable to attend in person, the City will offer live Internet video engagement, allowing viewers to watch live video from the event, participate with other viewers in group exercises through a moderated live chat, and then tell us what they think of this tool for future use. Register to participate online by following this link.
  • Poll results: We had a great response to ACTion Alexandria's Poll on Principles of Civic Engagement! A total of 160 community members participated in the poll, the majority of whom supported the principles as writtenand staff has prepared a summary for review. 
  • Seeking more feedback: Provide feedback on the consolidated summary of input on the planning process framework received at the January 29th Community Dialogue.
  • See what some of your neighbors are saying -- a sampling of inspiring and thoughtful commentary on civic engagement in Alexandria from the first two Community Dialogues.
