Alexandria Library Hours Change, SummerQuest, Fun Summer Events and More: This Week's Latest ACTion
- On July 1, thanks to new funding, all branches of the Alexandria Library System, began operating on extended schedules. To look at the schedule in detail and find out more information about your favorite branch, visit the official Library website. Also, if your child is interested in SummerQuest 2011 it's not too late to join! To find out about all the fun and activities, check out the SummerQuest homepage.
- Every summer in Alexandria, tons of events take place, and almost every one draws a crowd. This year, some attractions include the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival and the Alexandria Art Market, opened in May. Follow Kellie Meehan's Weekend Planner to stay on top of events in and around Alexandria.
- The new T.C. Williams Student Resource Guide is currently online (in PDF format)! T.C. students and their parents can use it to look up all sorts of topics, including scholarship info, answers to questions about college financial aid and more.
