Absentee Voting for Eligible Voters in Virginia

voting_boothIf you live in the 45th District, you may be eligible to vote absentee for the upcoming Special Election on September 4th. Absentee voting began on August 10th and is open until September 1st for in-person and mailed ballots must be in by September 4th at 7 pm.

To find out if you qualify, visit alexandriava.gov/Elections and click on “Absentee Voting,” or call 703.746.4050.

To cast your absentee ballot in person, go to the Alexandria Voter Registration Office, 132 North Royal Street, Suite 100. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

To vote by mail, download an application from alexandriava.gov/Elections, or contact the Voter Registration Office to have an application mailed to you. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is August 28th.
