Start 'Em Early, Let a Scholarship Pay for College! Donate Today for Literacy and Technology Upgrades in Mount Vernon Community School.
It takes a communal and constant effort to ensure our children have the educational tools needed for success in the classroom.
On October 22nd, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM, come out to Del Ray and YOU could help provide new technology and literacy tools for Mount Vernon Community School classrooms. Hosts Christi and Joe Hart are opening up their home for a great cause. Tickets for the 2nd Annual Fabulous Fall Fundraiser are just $30 each. Enjoy food, drinks, good music and good people. The goal is to raise $25,650 for a literacy and technology needs "wish list". Mount Vernon's PTA compiled this list which includes more smart boards, new Spanish langugae books and various other items.

Don't Want to Donate Online?
Someone will also be available to take cash or checks at the PTA meeting October 18th at 7:00PM and at the Bookfair on October 20th at 6:00PM. You can also make a donation by check or cash at Mount Vernon Community School (ATTN: MVCS PTA Fall Fundraiser). Your $30 ticket covers the event disbursements; however, you can still donate for the "wish list" to become a reality for Mount Vernon (yes, these are tax-deductible!).
