Stormwater Runoff at the Winkler Botanical Preserve
George Washington Middle School students found high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus entering the Winkler Botanical preserve in late 2011. These levels were mostly concentrated around the areas where storm drain water was leading into the preserve. This information was presented to City Council on May 12th. What's your position on additional storm water runoff entering the preserve due to the proposed VDOT I-395 Northbound Auxiliary Lane.?
