Higher Achievement's Community Garden Project

Scholars at the Alexandria Achievement Center would like to propose a green initiative to plant a community garden in Alexandria. This garden will not only be a place where citizens can create a vegetable garden, but this will also be a place which donates all of their food to the Alexandria Homeless.  At the end of each season, with the help of the community, the garden owners (students) will pick all o f the vegetables and can them. Again, all food will be donated to homeless shelters to provide food during colder weather.
