TC Williams Seniors in Need of Clothing for Professional Internships

Thanks to many of you in the Alexandria community who generously donated your clothing, several TC seniors started their internships in November looking sharp and professional!  Urban Alliance  needs your help again.  They have two young men who will be starting internships next week and are in need of professional shoes.  If any of you can help, please email Julie Farkas at jfarkas@theurbanalliance.org

Urban Alliance empowers under-resourced high school seniors to aspire, work, and succeed through paid internships, formal training, and mentoring.  They’ve worked with over 1,500 youth and hundreds of employers.  100% of the young people in the program graduate from high school and more than 80% enroll in a 4-year college or other post-secondary education.  Here’s a 3-minute video which shows how the program works.
