Each year, the Alexandria Domestic Violence Program invites over 60 families to a holiday party. Families will enjoy dinner and activities such as crafts, face painting and singing holiday songs. In many cases, the only gifts the children will receive will be given at this party.
Take free, beginning level ESL classes at Burke Library, 4701 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22304. These free classes include instruction in speaking, reading and writing English. Text materials will be provided in class. Children may accompany their parents.
