Coat Drive for Alexandria's Neediest Children
Donate Coats!
The Fund for Alexandria's Child, a program of the Department of Community and Human Services of the City of Alexandria, is gathering coats for children who have been abused, neglected, or who are in the foster care. Currently The Fund is looking for juniors', misses' and mens' sizes of coats for teens. The donation of a coat can make everything from being able to walk to school to playing outside possible. Please help keep Alexandria's kids warm this winter by sending or dropping off a new warm coat for teens in juniors', misses', and mens' sizes at the following address:
Community Resources Coordinator, DCHS, 2525 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301
Please attach your name, address, and email as a donor, and if dropping off, give DCHS a call first at 703-746-5663.
Thank you!
