Help Send More Than 500 Bikes to Africa!

This Saturday Dec. 8th from 10am to 3pm Wheels to Africa (WTA) is having its annual bike collection again at TC Williams High School. WTA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that collects bikes for African and needy American Communities. WTA was started by Arlington resident Winston Duncan when he was 11 years old. After a trip to Southern Africa in 2005, Winston decided he had to help people in Africa who needed transportation to obtain food, water and medicine. Since 2005, WTA has collected over 500 bikes that were sent to Uganda, Nambia, Sierra Leone, and Kenya.

WTA requests a $15 donation per bike to help cover the cost of overseas shipping. For questions email at OR call at 703-919-0570
