The only program of its kind in Northern Virginia, Friends of Guest House has offered structure,supervision, support and assistance to women who sincerely want to improve their lives and break the cycle of incarceration for over 35 years. Residents receive the physical and emotional tools they need to begin a new life through self-sufficiency, and leave with hope and a brighter future. Read more »

Empowered Women International, now in its tenth year of operation, trains, mentors and connects refugee, immigrant and low-income women to give them tools to launch their own business in the creative or artistic sector. Upon graduation from the intensive, four-month business program, the women have incorporated their businesses, completed a business and marketing plan, and have properly priced their creative product or service.
