Sadly, Spring2ACTion is officially over. But today, we get to celebrate the results and the amazing generousity of our community. With your help, we raised $659,591 from 5,872 givers in just 24 hours! Thank you, thank you, thank you! None of this would be possible without YOU!  

What if we all gave one one day?

On Wednesday, April 17, our community will come together for 24 hours of unprecedented giving.

The answer: 45 or the entire 5th grade class at Charles Barrett Elementary School. But we're not talking about a literal light bulb - we're talking about creativity and imagination. With the help of Spring2ACTion, turn it on they did in Lightbulb - Illuminating Thoughts to Light Up Our World, a chapbook of poems by the class.

ACTion Alexandria's biggest action of the year, Spring2ACTion, begins at midnight on May 2, and we urge you to help us make it a record breaker. Last year, we all worked together to raise $104,000. This year, our goal is to help local nonprofits raise $200,000 in just 24 hours!

Spring2ACTion Results

ACTion Alexandria invites you to participate in Spring2ACTion, an innovative online community-wide fundraising event designed to inspire unprecedented levels of charitable giving in our City. Every donation you make gives your favorite organization the chance to win even more money through matching donations and prizes.

Spring2ACTion is a collaboration of 44 Alexandria nonprofit organizations. We are working together to raise the profile of the life-changing work they do in our community as well as help them raise a little money to help them continue to do it!
