members have been collaborating to build Alexandria's Principles of Engagement since November. We'll be discussing the Principles and a new framework for implementation and we need your feedback and ideas.
Sadly, Spring2ACTion is officially over. But today, we get to celebrate the results and the amazing generousity of our community. With your help, we raised $659,591 from 5,872 givers in just 24 hours! Thank you, thank you, thank you! None of this would be possible without YOU!
Volunteers are needed for the Sixth Annual Del Ray Music Festival scheduled for Saturday, June 23, 2012. The festival runs from 10am to 10pm on the Mt. Vernon Recreation Center Fields at 2701 Commonwealth Avenue and includes a diverse line up of music, food and games.
Volunteering is a geat way to be a part of this fun community event.
On Wednesday, May 2nd, our community will come together for 24 hours of unprecedented giving.
Spring2ACTion is one extraordinary day to support the organizations that make Alexandria amazing. ACT and ACTion Alexandria, in partnership with our sponsors, are offering up to $30,000 in cash and prizes to help increase fundraising efforts by participating organizations and individual fundraisers. This Thursday, we hope everyone will come out for the final First Thursday of the season - Home Sweet Home. While there are lots of great things planned including a fun scavenger hunt with prizes & great music from the Kate Moran Band, we would like to ask for everyone's support in helping our featured non-profit.
