This week, we're helping the Center for Alexandria’s Children build 25 "attachment kits" for local homeless families to ensure healthy childhood development and secure and loving parent-child relationships.
32 of you take action last week and donated 54 new toys to the Center for Alexandria's Children developmental playgroups. The toys you donated were selected by CAC staff to support children in all aspects of their emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.
Brain development in the first 3 years is critical to life-long academic outcomes and the language and literacy rich environment provided by the CAC developmental playgroups help address the gap in development of young children for some of the most vulnerable and underserved families in Alexandria.
This week, we are helping the Center for Alexandria’s Children collect 50 items for their playgroups that provide critical developmental support to young children and parents in Alexandria.
