Kids Helping Kids

Kids Helping Kids is an effort by young people in Alexandria to help youth in Alexandria. Founded in 2002, this non-profit group is made up of about a dozen teens ages 13-18. These teens are the backbone of the organization, recruiting youth volunteer, spreading awareness of the event, gathering sponsors to donate supplies and the precise logistics of the event.

Lynhaven Citizens Association

The Civic Association meets once a month at Cora Kelly Recreation Center. At community meetings, we plan events and discuss issues of interest to the community such as crime, code enforcement, city services, and new road, business, and housing developments that affect our neighborhood.
