Get "Top of Mind" With The People That Make Things Happen in Alexandria WHO WE ARE: Agenda:Alexandria is the premiere forum for unbiased information about emerging Alexandria issues. Established in 1997 as a 501(c)3 membership organization by a bipartisan group of community leaders, its charter is to present objective information about community issues to fuel informed debate and sound community decisions. WHO WE REACH: Our membership is both diverse and influential. The 200+ members of Agenda:Alexandria represent every facet of Alexandria life – neighborhood, political, business and social. Fifteen percent of members are current and former elected officials, while a quarter are City staff or active on a Board or Commission. WHAT WE DO: Agenda:Alexandria sponsors eight dinner meetings a year with presentations on topics of interest to Alexandrians. Topics are wide-ranging and past topics have included such issues as transportation, education, the arts, public safety, history and preservation, public health, the City budget, the waterfront, the environment and aging in Alexandria.Membership is only $35 a year and open to anyone, whether or not you live or work in Alexandria.
