That's why the City of Alexandria, the Kelley Cares Foundation, and private citizens have formed the Miracle League of Alexandria--to make the lives of Alexandria's special needs children and adults more safe and fun.

Fall is here and Art on the Avenue is drawing near on Saturday, October 1. Art on the Avenue is staffed exclusively by volunteers. Join the team to spend some quality time with friends and neighbors in Del Ray and do your part to support the arts.

Art on the Avenue needs individual volunteers (and groups!) to work various shifts from 5:30am to 7:00pm on October 1st.

According to the Alexandria Mentoring Program, 50% of Alexandria's young people live in situations that put them at risk of not living up to their full potential. With mentoring, that risk is dramatically reduced.
