Waterfront Plan Work Group Community Forum

The Waterfront Plan Work Group will hold a community forum on Wednesday, September 14, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the forum will be devoted to gathering comments from groups and individuals on the proposed Waterfront Plan.  The forum will be held at the Mt. Vernon Recreational Center, 2701 Commonwealth Ave.  The Work Group is inviting representatives of many of the boards, commissions and community organizations that have been involved in the Waterfront Plan to speak during the first hour.  During the remaining hour, the Work Group invites comments, for up to three minutes each, from one representative of other stakeholder groups and individuals.  Those who are interested in speaking during the second hour can email staff at nancy.lavalle@alexandriava.gov or nancy.williams@alexandriava.gov, or sign up at the meeting.
