At the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum, learn about the health benefits of tea and see how tea has been used for medicinal purposes. At Carlyle House, find out about the significance of tea in international trade and how tea merchants conducted business. At Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, discover how hot beverages like tea and coffee were important to taverns and travelers, and enjoy a special frozen treat provided by the Dairy Godmother that John Gadsby might have served thanks to his ice well. At each museum, visitors will also receive a sample of tea from the Spice & Tea Exchange to take home.
