Potomac Yard Bus Tour

The Alexandria City Council will host a Potomac Yard development update and bus tour on Saturday, September 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. This meeting will precede the City’s regularly scheduled Public Hearing, now scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. There will be a short presentation starting at 8 a.m., with the tour departing promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the Pulte Homes Sales Office, located at 2400 Main Line Blvd, and returning at approximately 10 a.m.

Highlights of the two-hour tour will include updates on:

  • Planned Development
  • Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Alternatives
  • Route 1 Transitway
  • Parks and Open Space

The tour is open to the public, but seating availability is on a first come, first served basis.  Residents are encouraged to RSVP by Wednesday, September 18 to Lee Farmer, Project Manager, at lee.farmer@alexandriava.gov  or 703.746.4146.
