Mount Vernon by Candlelight takes place on: November 25, 26 & 27 (Friday - Sunday) December 3 & 4 (Saturday - Sunday only) December 10 & 11 (Saturday - Sunday only) December 17 & 18 (Saturday - Sunday only. Mrs. Washington will be conducting the candlelight tours. Tours are available between 5:00PM and 8:30PM. You and the family can experience Mount Vernon by candlelight as well as Christmas carols and favorite Holiday treats such as gingerbread cookies and hot cider.
Tickets are on sale now. You can purchase them at Mount Vernon's Ford Orientation Center or online. For adults to enjoy the evening, the ticket is priced at $20 and $14 for children under the age of 11.
Please note that the third floor of the Mansion will not be open for candlelight tours.

Come help kick off inauguration weekend with a celebration to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and volunteer! On Saturday, January 19th, hundreds of volunteers will assist nonprofit agencies providing services to people in need as well as provide educational activities to children and youth. In Alexandria, volunteers are needed to assist children and teenagers creating a story book. Volunteers are needed for set up, registration, implementing arts and crafts projects, clean up, and much more.
