Help Carpenter's Shelter Rebuild!

carpenters_shelterFriday April 12, Carpenter’s Shelter experienced a fire. We were very fortunate to identify the fire quickly thanks two of our fearless volunteers who alerted the staff immediately. Fortunately no one was injured.

We have had an amazing outpouring of concern and support from the community. While the fire damage was minimal, the shelter experienced extensive smoke and water damage. The total cost of the damage is estimated to be over $42,000. Carpenter's Shelter is fortunate to have insurance cover a portion of the cost, however, the restoration of the shelter will cost the shelter over $10,000 in out of pocket expenses.
