More about Lyles Crouch Elementary
Lyles Crouch is a diverse city school -- our nomination details our challenges in ensuring that our children have a safe and quality environment for play which is so important for fighting obesity and promoting health, well-being and a sense of community. Before and after school hours, the playground is utilized by our entire community and often children from other schools in the area. The baseball diamond is used for city t-ball and baseball practices. This would be a great boost to our community to win this contest -- but we really need help. The student body is 420 children and we need a broader reach than just our families.
