Art on the Avenue is on October 6th this year and it's shaping up to be a great time!
Every year, over 50,000 visitors stroll down Mt. Vernon Avenue in Del Ray, Alexandria, and are greeted by over 300 artists, musicians, and food vendors. Kids activities have always been a vital part of the festival — stuff your own scarecrow, paint a pumpkin, lotus flower design, weave screen art, to name a few.
Art on the Avenue is staffed exclusively by volunteers. Join the team to spend some quality time with friends and neighbors in Del Ray and do your part to support the arts.
