Community Partners for Children needs your help sorting all the donations received for the Back-to-School supplies drive. You provide the time. They provide the place: Charles Houston Rec Center at 901 Wythe Street.

Tuesday 8:00am – 11:00am

♦ Setup. Bring donations from cars into center

♦ Sort and count school supplies

Tuesday 11:00am – 3:00pm

♦ Sort supplies for each school

♦ Package donations for delivery

This is the CPC's 21st Back-to-School supply drive. The effort helps students, who qualify for reduced-price school meals, start the year right with basic tools that CPC president Pat Miller says, “many take for granted.”

Monday August 29th is the last day to bring donations to one of 46 neighborhood locations with a drop-off spot waiting for you. Items sought include: Composition books. Spiral notebooks. Pens. Pencils. Crayons. Scissors.
